I am very grateful that you came to Fairhill to teach our sixth grade class. It was fun to be able to have hands on experience in addition to the classroom experiences that we already had. I think that the part I enjoyed most was when you shot the musket; it was surprising and funny. I also enjoyed when you passed around the artifacts and told us about them. I could feel the powderhorn as you told us how it was used and carried. I also enjoyed the way you taught us about the Revolutionary War. You used humor and interesting facts and I was actually interested in history!
I learned a lot while you were at our school but one of the most interesting things I learned about was the soldiers’ uniforms. I hadn’t realized that they had to wear so much! Thanks for coming to our school!
